Draw Chart Shapes

You can draw chart shapes on the detailed chart in landscape orientation (see Charts - Landscape Orientation for more information). You can draw one or two of each shape type (Rectangle, Triangle, Ellipse) onto the chart.

Add Chart Shape

  1. With the detailed chart in landscape orientation, tap the [Action Overflow] button on the Android action bar. From the secondary menu that appears at the bottom of the chart, tap Tools.
  2. Tap Shapes from the pop-up menu followed by tapping Add <Rectangle/Triangle/Ellipse> #n as appropriate, where n = 1, 2.
  3. On the chart, tap the point where you want the shape to start then swipe your finger away from that point. The shape is drawn dynamically and follows your finger movements expanding outward equally.
  4. You can modify the shape and positioning by touching one of the end points then swiping your finger to the desired location.
  5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 to draw other shapes as required.

Remove a Shape
